      • Tur Dal
      • Drumsticks
      • Pumpkin
      • Brinjal
      • Onion
      • Tamarind
      • Tomatoes
      • Swaroma Turmeric Powder- 1tsp
      • Swaroma Chilli Powder- 1tsp
      • Swaroma Sambar Masala – 2tbsp
      • Jaggery
      • Salt

Method : 

        • Soak 150gm gms Tur Dal for 30 minutes
        • Boil the vegetables like Drumstick, Pumpkin, Brinjal and Onion and the dal and vegetable in 600ml water for 40mins
        • Soak 40gm tamarind in 100ml in warm water for 30min, strain the pulp and separate the tamrind juice 
        • In a separate pan, fry 1 finely chopped onion and tomato
        • Add ½ tbsp Swaroma turmeric , ½ Swaroma chilli powder, 2 tbsp Swaroma Sambhar Masala and 1 tbsp of jaggery, salt and stir fry for 5 min
        • Add boiled dal and vegetables along with some water and pressure cook everything for 15 min till a thick consistency, add jaggery as per taste and then mix  with the prepared tamrind juice
        • Garnish the sambar with corriander 
        • Serve hot with with steamed rice, idli or dosa.
