While these lines are funny to read, they come from a very rich and desi art form, Truck Art. The trucks, or lorries, which play an integral part of on-land logisitics have evolved and developed a language of their own in southern parts of Asia. This holds especially true for the Indian sub-continent. The floral prints, calligraphy, and the catchy lines which form the Truck Art have captured the imagination of those in the developed countries of western hemisphere along with the local populace. So popular is the Truck Art that it has even inspired a hit Bollywood song, Ibn-e-Batuta.
